Events in My Home In Noirmoutier, Vendee

Every summer, the regatta of Bois de la Chaize creates the event. Today, one of the most important gatherings of traditional sailing boats on the Atlantic coast, it takes place around the weekend of August 15th. It is then nearly 140 sailboats, 600 crew, and more than 20 000 spectators on the island of Noirmoutier which are thus gathered each year. Do not miss !

At the end of the Christmas season, Christmas markets are set up on the island. In Noirmoutier but also in the municipalities of La Guérinière, the Epine and Barbâtre, thirty exhibitors offer gifts, gourmandises and entertainment for the enjoyment of young and old alike.

All year round, concerts, shows and plays are organized in the courtyard of the Château de Noirmoutier. Come and enjoy an exceptional setting and high-quality programming, particularly at the Musicales de Noirmoutier, which take place every summer with, for the 2016 edition, Cœur de Pirate, Yael Naim and La Grande Sophie.

Around the 15th of August, it is at the feast of the Port of Morin à l'Epine, that you must be! On the program: walks in the sea, bowling competitions, raffle, angling, inflatable children's structure, podium entertainment, ice cream, drinks, pancakes and cocktails ... With an orchestra to liven up the evening and fireworks at nightfall.

And of course, for July 14, rendez-vous on the Mardi Gras beach au Vieil for a little ball of the Guinguette that continues well after the fireworks shooting around 11 pm. A great evening in perspective.
